Michael Lala grew up moving around the United States and in Tokyo, and studied writing at Michigan State University under Diane Wakoski. He has worked in a variety of editorial capacities at a travel magazine, for small publishers, and as a freelancer before joining Greenline. He currently curates the Fireside Follies reading series and edits the independent literary review 1441 in Brooklyn. His own work has appeared in numerous online and print journals; he has two chapbooks forthcoming this year from [sic] Press in Detroit and Knickerbocker Circus Publishing in New York.STAFF
